Food is one of my passions. Here is a place where I share what’s been on my plate. Literally.
I am a Registered Dietitian (RD) and am currently live and work in Portland, OR.
On my downtime, I enjoy cooking and throwing dinner parties with friends. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. I also love to try new foods from different cultures. When I’m not in the kitchen or eating, I like to go running outside, hiking out in the forest, play board games with friends, and play with my dog, Griffey.

/ January 29, 2011what an awesome blog jen! i am really interested in eating the right things (even though i NEVER do!)
i need to take time and plan out my meals, otherwise, working at an italian restaurant, i have horrible food at my fingertips! which i snarf when i’m hungry! mac and cheese, penne with pesto cream… :p haha
i love your advice about portion control. i definitely always use the salad plates, but i do not usually have mindful eating as i am sitting in front of my office computer (snarfing) while trying to get work done.
i will take your advice to heart! it will probably be better for my health.. physically AND mentally!
